How to tell the difference between a single action and double action revolver?

You can tell the difference between a single action and double action revolver by the way you have to load and unload it.   Just yesterday, we talked about this in What’s the difference between and single action and double action.

Now, we are showing you how to tell, visually, whether a revolver is a single or double action.

Double action is a flip-out cylinder for loading and unloading.  See below.

The single action cylinder, however does not.  The single has a loading gate and an ejection rod.

So, there you have it, folks.  For those that don’t know, now you know.  And, knowing is half the battle.

I had been wondering if you ever thought of modifying the layout of your site? It is very well written; I love what youve got to state. But maybe you could include a little more in the way of written content so people might connect to it better. You have got a great deal of text for only having one or two graphics. Maybe you could space it out better?
